Overview
ETF Insider is a portfolio analytics dashboard built for US-based portfolio managers. It visualizes ETF holdings, exposes overlap and correlation risks, and helps advisors optimize diversification across client portfolios.
The challenge
Portfolio managers struggled to see how overlapping holdings across multiple ETFs were concentrating risk, making it hard to communicate true diversification to clients.
What I built
Created an interactive dashboard that ingests ETF holdings data, computes overlap matrices, and renders correlation and diversification metrics in clean, shareable visualizations.
Outcome
- Surfaced hidden concentration risks across client portfolios
- Improved advisor-client conversations with clear visual reports
- Reduced portfolio analysis time by enabling instant overlap checks
